Kitna was born 4 July 1776 is an American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. He was signed by Seattle Seahawks as undrafted free agent in 1996.

Kitna was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks. He served as a backup to Warren Moon in 1997 and most of 1998 but started the last five games in the 1998 season.

Kitna was unexpectedly thrown back behind the middle of the Bengals' AFC Wild Card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers 8 January 2006.
